The International Poker Network is a nice network with many bad players entering the tables from the casinos and bookmakers on the network. The traffic is acceptable, as well as the graphics. Everything concerning the software is very user-friendly, and the games run quite smoothly. There’s a live-chat right at the table to help you instantly.

Fish

The many casinos on the International Poker Network bring a constant flow of gamblers, chasing nearly everything. There´re also bookmakers bringing in fresh fish, but when Bwin left the network, they took many of the clueless donks along with them. This includes the horrible Turkish players that used to swim around on the IPN network, so the level is not quite as crazy as it used to be. Still it´s very loose, but now more in a fishy, passive way. Over the past few years, more and more good players have found their way to this oasis, but the number of very bad players at this network is still so overwhelming, that we see IPN as one of the best places to go poker fishing!

Software

The BossMedia software used by the IPN rooms is smooth and very user-friendly - it quickly became my mother\'s favorite network :) There re all the standard features like Notes, Player-Search and a 5 table multi-tab at the top of each screen, making it easy to switch between the tables. There’s a great Live-Support right at the table which is a sign of superb service! The beginner will probably enjoy that there are 20 seconds to respond – a thing that on the other hand will annoy the skilled player, as well as the fact that there´re no statistics available! In the lobby you can see everything you’ll need to know though, like plrs/flop%, average pot size, hands/hour, players seated, who’s on the waiting list etc.

Traffic

Players during peak hours:
Cash-games: up to 3.300
Tournaments: up to 13.000
After Bwin left the network, there was a dramatic drop in traffic at the International Poker Network, but the network is still very popular. Currently traffic is decent at most levels and games, with the exception of 7 Card Stud. There´re cash games in several different currencies, including the Turkish Lire(TRY), with plenty of action to be found in all of them. Since TRY is approx. 2/3 of the $, there´s a lot of rake to be saved at these tables!

Tournaments

When it comes to big multi-table tournaments, the traffic is somewhat limited. Tournaments with small and medium buy-ins run around the clock though, and many of these are often either guaranteed or tempting in some other way. There´re some larger tournaments as for instance the monthly $100.000 Guaranteed, and qualifiers for huge live events like the WSOP, Monte Carlo and Irish open. Sit and Go’s run constantly, with buy-ins from $3 all the way up to $500. These are either with 10, 5 or 2 participants, and many of them filled with very bad players! Acceptable traffic and extremely soft competition leads us to provide International Poker Network with a Tournament score slightly above average.
