ABSOLUTE POKER has been a very unsafe poker room for the last couple of years! It has been discovered that millions of dollars have been robbed from the players by Super Users able to see their opponents\' cards! This took place at both AP and UB, and has been admited by the company behind. Whether they had any part in it or not is still unsure, but they naturally deny this, though it was former employees, who was caught in the act. Most affected players have been compensated for their losses, and the rooms has now entered a united poker platform where they share players to overcome this and have a fresh start. With all eyes on these rooms, and this network, we believe they have learned from their mistake, and are doing everything possible to keep securety a top, top, top priority. Still, we strongly advice all players not to play at Absolute Poker. br>

Fish

As one of the largest online poker rooms, Absolute has all kinds of players, but generally they are tight and passive. At the higher levels, there is a remarkable number of tight and aggressive players, why the Plrs/flop % generally is very low. Naturally there are fish at Absolute, but there is a tighter tendency from top to bottom compared to other rooms. Absolute is probably mostly for players who knows how to take advantage of these tight and passive players with a well disciplined loose and aggressive style.

Traffic

Cash-games: up to 3.200
Tournaments: up to 8.700
Plenty of shorthanded fixed limit tables from $0.02/$0.04 to $25/$50, but not many full ring games, and those that are often only has about 8 active players. There are a decent number of no-limit players from $0.25 - $10, and mostly its only at the smaller limits of Omaha and 7 Seven card stud that one can find the action required. Theres decent traffic when it comes to tournaments, especially Sit & Gos.

Software

Absolute Poker has recently updated their software to the 8.0 version, which has improved Absolute Poker amazingly well! They now offer three different table-views, including the classic skin. The new ones are preferable, with more options at the table, easier nagivation and shiny graphics. You can also download numerous skins by clicking the RMB on the middle of the table. The process can be a bit tricky though. Cards are now being dealt faster, and there are new poker room menus and displays. Tables are resizable and the multi-tabling conditions have improved significantly. You\'ll enjoy aditional mouse functionalities like the ability to adjust your raise amount using the scroll wheel. The software is very user-friendly, and works smoothly. Its easy to navigate in the lobby, and there are all the features you could want. Still, software includes security, and we still wouldn\'t be able to say if there are super users left in the system somehow. So low score for uncertain security.

Tournaments

Easy navigation in the lobby allows you to locate the tournaments you may require in an instant. The vast majority of the tournaments have buy-ins from $50 and below, but there are more expencive tournaments as well. Notable are the $100+8 qualifiers to huge live events like WSOP and Aruba, as well as the $150.000 guaranteed every saturday. Overlay is common! Buy-in is $200+16 with qualifiers running around the clock from $3+0.30 and $1 rebuys. Absolute has numerous daily freerolls, but the pricepools are rarely very exciting but definately worth the attention for beginners. Sit & Gos run constantly from $0,5 - $100.

Support

Absolute Poker only has email support, but replies come quite quickly with a professional respond. The good thing is you dont have to go through several departments - theres not a problem that cant be solved through their email support!

Bonus

Absolute Poker has always been know as the one big site with big promotions as well! They currently offer a lucrative bonus matching your 1st deposit with up to $500! With constant reload bonuses from 20%-100% you will never again have to play without a bonus!
