If 5 players participate in the game, the four sixes have to be included in the deck. Aces count as both the highest and the lowest card, why A, 7, 8, 9, 10 counts as the lowest straight (with 4 or less players in the game).
The Game
- The player to the left of the dealer button puts out small blind, and the following player a big blind. Small blind is half the size of the big blind, which is the amount the other players need to put out(as a minimum) to participate in the hand.
- Every player is dealt five closed cards, and the 1st betting round is initiated by the player left to the big blind by either calling, raising or folding to get out of the hand before any money has been put into the pot.
- The remaining players get a draw where they get the chance to improve their hand. 0-5 cards is discarded, and replaced by an equivalent number of cards from the dealer.
- After the draw, the 2nd and last betting round is initiated by the player on the big blinds left side. When the last bet has been called, there’s showdown and the lowest hand wins the pot. The player who made the last bet or raise is first to show his/her hand, and if another player doesn’t have a better hand, it may be mucked. If everyone checks, the player closest to the dealers left side shows first.
